Resona Tools

Work with project files

New Resona Antenna projects use the .resonant extension. Existing .resona projects remain readable and can be saved in place; Save As uses .resonant when no extension is entered.

Save and reopen

Use Save while working and Save As when you want a separate version. Resona Antenna project files keep the antenna design and its settings so you can close the application and continue later.

Choose names that describe the antenna and the purpose of the version. Store important projects in a folder included in your normal backup routine.

Recover unfinished work

Resona Antenna may offer recovered work after an unexpected interruption. Review it before deciding whether to keep it. A recovered copy does not replace the project you saved unless you choose to save it.

Share carefully

A project file can contain dimensions, notes, and other details about your design. Review it before sharing. The recipient may need a recent Resona Antenna version to open a project created with newer features.

If a file cannot be opened, your current project remains available. Keep the original file and check the Support page before trying again.
